wellness, simplified

whether you want to find more well-being, more performance, or more peace through a functional balance between the two, i've got you. you don't have to sacrifice one for the other. let's find your path to the next chapter together.

well-being over everything

wellness is not just the absence of illness. it's a dynamic process of change and growth towards a holistically fulfilling life. It integrates various aspects of well-being, each of which contributes to how you feel about your life as a whole.

-

if you're sacrificing your well-being for success, your success will be short-lived. well-being is the foundation of a good life, and no one is immune to consequences if it's ignored.

  • a suit

you're under pressure. deadlines, quotas, layoffs; does it ever end? your free time is precious - maybe even so precious you don't know how to spend it...so you waste it instead. you want to feel less stressed, more at ease, and find your way through the challenges ahead of you (whether you're in it for the long haul or you're trying to find your way out).

  • an athlete

you compete every day. whether with yourself or against another, your goal is to stack skill, endurance, and strength to stay in the game. performance is a must - sometimes to the detriment of your wellbeing. but compartmentalizing and "leaving your life at the door" only works for so long until your focus falters and your edge slips. something's gotta give.

  • a creative

you're the gas and the brakes (and the clutch...and the ignition). with the world on your shoulders, it can be easy to push well-being to the back burner. but then burnout comes knocking, and suddenly you're down for the count before you even know what hit you. creativity is blocked, projects get put on hold, events get cancelled - now what?

I get it.

I've been there. The good news is, you don't have to be stuck. Dive into the rejuvenating waters of real self-care and build the skills you need in order to feel your best: self-exploration, nutrition, training, and real, deep rest.

being well may not always be easy, but it can be simple. here's what it comes down to:

the basics

explore

you can do it all. you just have to find your center, ground yourself, and cultivate your mind as your place of refuge. if you are your own safe place, nothing can shake you beyond the point of no return. you become a force that can't be stopped, no matter what life throws your way.

nourish

what you consume can nourish you or drain you. the food you eat, the things you drink, the videos you watch, the words you read, the energy you take in from those around you - it all matters more than you may realize. find what nourishes you and limit the rest. it's up to you to learn what helps and what hurts.

train

movement is kindness to your physical form and medicine for your mind. your body is meant to travel through space, move through its full range of motion, and be the vessel in which you navigate life. to have a physical form that can carry you through decades with grace is a gift. walk, stretch, dance, lift, run - whatever feels good. you will never regret taking the time once it's done.

restore

be still and let your inner self emerge. that's the real you - not the person you feel like you need to be to fit into the world. rest, sleep, reflect, create, express; this is how you restore your being and allow yourself to bloom. life moves in cycles. don't force yourself to be an eternal summer, burning hot and forcefully alive. it's more productive to take time to settle down, be still, and let yourself recharge before you begin again.

after struggling with my own well-being for years, I figured out how to eat well, take care of my body, dismantle my chronic anxiety, and do all the other things i needed to do to be well as a baseline. through that process, I realized just how confusing it can be to learn all of this on your own.

ever since, my goal has been to make wellness accessible and easy to understand for anyone who wants to build it into their life.
